Employing a quantitative descriptive design, data were collected from 272 respondents across Bekasi’s manufacturing firms and analyzed using PLS-SEM via SmartPLS. The findings reveal that both Value Creation (β = 0.260, t = 2.297, p = 0.022, f² = 0.148) and NPD (β = 0.455, t = 4.949, p < 0.001, f² = 0.458) significantly and positively impact Competitive Advantage, with NPD exerting a stronger effect. Engagement with SDGs also positively affects Competitive Advantage (β = 0.158, t = 2.258, p = 0.024), albeit to a lesser extent. However, the direct relationships from Value Creation or NPD to SDG performance were not statistically significant, and SDGs did not mediate their effects on Competitive Advantage. This research contributes to theory by confirming innovation and stakeholder-centered value creation as primary drivers of competitive positioning, while highlighting that SDG alignment supports—but does not transmit—the benefits of operational and innovation efforts. Practically, it suggests firms should fortify value creation and NPD capabilities, and strategically integrate sustainability to amplify their competitive impact. The study is original in detailing the non-significant mediation of SDGs, challenging the common assumption that sustainability goals automatically follow from value or innovation investments. It provides nuanced insights into the distinct and complementary roles of value creation, product innovation, and sustainability engagement in driving competitive advantage in manufacturing contexts
2025-08-05T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Ahmad Sopyan, Sukesi Sukesi, Suyanto Suyanto, Aminullah Assagaf, Eddy Yunus https://www.abnus.org/jemeb/article/view/224 Employee Productivity Improvement Strategy Through Innovation: An Analysis of Digital Communication Technology and R&D in Trading Companies in Jakarta 2025-07-10T00:51:14+00:00 Aprison Aprison aprison729@gmail.com Slamet Ryadi slamet.riyadi@unitomo.ac.id Suyanto Suyanto suyanto_fe@unitomo.ac.id Sukesi Sukesi sukesi@unitomo.ac.id Aminullah Assagaf assagaf29@yahoo.com
Purpose: This study analyzes how CSR, innovation, and environmental policies influence organizational sustainability. The research is driven by the increasing competition among Islamic educational institutions and the need for effective marketing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty among guardians as key decision-makers. This research uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The sample consists of 384 respondents who are guardians of students from grades 7, 8, and 9 across 12 private Islamic full-day junior high schools with accreditation levels A, B, and C. The sampling technique employed is stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through path analysis with the assistance of SPSS. The results indicate that all dimensions of the marketing mix (7Ps) have a positive and significant influence on guardian satisfaction. Furthermore, satisfaction significantly affects loyalty, and most marketing mix dimensions also directly influence loyalty. Satisfaction is proven to act as a mediating variable in the relationship between the marketing mix and loyalty. A notable contribution of this study is the inclusion of the akhlaqul karimah (noble character) indicator within the product dimension, which reflects the unique values of Islamic education. The theoretical implications of this study reinforce the applicability of the 7P model in the Islamic educational sector and provide empirical contributions to the development of marketing strategies rooted in Islamic values. Practically, the findings offer valuable insights for school administrators to design more effective and satisfaction-oriented marketing strategies to foster guardian loyalty.
2025-09-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Fajar Alam, Nur Sayidah, Sutanto Soekiman, Siti Marwiyah, Sukesi Sukesi , Aminullah Assagaf, Slamet Riyadi, Eric Hermawan https://www.abnus.org/jemeb/article/view/230 Manufacturing Company Performance Strategies and Influencing Factors with Competitiveness as Intervening Variable 2025-09-03T04:17:15+00:00 Anung Haryanto anung.hyt@gmail.com Aminullah Assagaf u2@mail.com Suyanto Suyanto u3@mai.com Sukesi Sukesi sukesi@unitomo.ac.id Slamet Riyadi slamet.riyadi@unitomo.ac.id
This study aimed to develop and empirically test a strategic model integrating Continuous Improvement (CI), Value Added (VA), and Organizational Culture, and their effects on Profitability, Competitiveness, and Performance in manufacturing firms. Utilizing a quantitative research design with survey data from manufacturing executives, the model was tested using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results reveal that both CI (β = 0.148, p < 0.05) and VA (β = 0.179, p < 0.05) significantly enhance Competitiveness, while only VA (β = 0.142, p < 0.05) directly and significantly improves Performance. CI’s influence on performance—both directly and via competitiveness—was not statistically significant, and no mediation effect of competitiveness was observed. This indicates that although CI supports competitive positioning, its translation into performance may rely on additional factors such as effective implementation, cultural alignment, or contextual conditions. The study contributes by pinpointing VA as a key driver of both competitive advantage and performance, and by revealing the limitations of CI’s direct impact in the absence of executional rigor. Its originality lies in the development of a novel integrative model that simultaneously examines CI, VA, and culture within a manufacturing setting, filling a gap in current empirical literature.
2025-09-03T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Anung Haryanto, Aminullah Assagaf, Suyanto Suyanto, Sukesi Sukesi, Slamet Riyadi
